I spoke to Richard at this establishment by telephone at 11 AM this date. He was advised of necessary requirements including, but not limited to, that the water from the sinks is considered contaminated and may not be used to wash fruits or vegetables, that the patron restroom sink must be posted with an advisory, and that failure to comply can lead to closure of the establishment. Richard stated that there was bottled water on site and asked if they could return the water since they didnt need it. I advised him to retain the water as it was unknown when the water supply would be deemed satisfactory. Since the facility was not in compliance, and since there were numerous serious violations documented, the establishment is ordered closed. The front door is to remain placarded with the Notice of Closure until permission to remove the placard is granted by the Dept. of Health. |
