Inspection Results

Date: 2019-01-30 Type: Inspection Violations: 0 critical, 1 noncritical
Item 15A: Floors, walls, ceilings, not smooth, properly constructed, in disrepair, dirty surfaces
Comments: Facility serves pre-packaged snacks and has no potentially hazardous time/temperature controlled for safety food on premise. Discussed that if facility does decide to serve PHF/TCS such as diary products, facility would need to obtain probe thermometer to evaluate temperatures of foods. All cold holding units at bar had hanging monitoring thermometers located near front of units. Observed ice machine, with clean baffle. Facility had sanitizer test strips (quaternary ammonia). Per owner, when facility runs out of quaternary ammonia, they use chlorine, which test strips were available as well. All hand wash stations, including the men's and women's bathroom had adequate hand wash supplies, such as soap, papers towels, and warm water.
Date: 2018-01-24 Type: Inspection Violations: 0 critical, 0 noncritical
Comments: No violations observed during inspection. Facility has appropriate test strips to measure quaternary ammonia in sanitizing solution, which was 200 ppm in 3 bay sink at bar at time of inspection. Bathrooms are stocked with adequate hand wash supplies such as soap and paper towels. Interior baffle of ice machine was clean at time of inspection. Hard copy of inspection report to be mailed to operator.
Date: 2017-09-28 Type: Inspection Violations: 0 critical, 0 noncritical
Comments: Discussed ill worker policy. Bathrooms have hand-washing supplies such as soap and paper towels, with adequate warm water. Discussed keeping beer a minimum of 6 inches off floor. Observed cloth underneath slotted shelf on top of ice machine. Slotted shelf holds ice scoop. Ice scoop is not in contact with cloth due to separation by slotted shelf, therefore is acceptable for storage of ice scoop.
Date: 2016-07-18 Type: Re-Inspection Violations: 0 critical, 0 noncritical
Comments: Item 12C, soda gun holster waste lines being drained into a plastic jug with foil around the top, and Item 10B, front lower condenser cover missing from sliding glass door drink cooler, from prior inspection corrected. No other items evaluated during time of reinspection.
Date: 2016-05-16 Type: Re-Inspection Violations: 0 critical, 3 noncritical
Item 10B: Non-food contact surfaces and equipment are improperly designed, constructed, installed, maintained (equipment not readily accessible for cleaning, surface not smooth finish)
Item 12C: Plumbing and sinks not properly sized, installed, maintained; equipment and floors not properly drained
Comments: Item 10B, build up on pipe inside ice machine, from previous inspection corrected. PB and ZJC investigated indirect drain in basement. Ice bin at bar and ice machine in storage room were observed emptying into indirect drain in basement (blockage evident, leak of floor, see violation 12C.2). Discussed options regarding method to properly drain soda gun holster at bar. Per operator, she plans on installing indirect drain (air gap) at drain line under ice bin at bar. Operator plans on putting soda gun holster drain into indirect under ice bin. At sliding glass door drink cooler at bar, observed condensate pan catcher next to condenser with small amount of condensate collected. Original design of unit employed catch pan for condensate. Piping of this condensate to indirect drain not necessary at this time. Operator is required to install removable cover over condensate of this unit for easy removal and cleaning of condenser and catch pan. Operator advised to empty catch pan regularly and add disinfection (sanitizing solution) regularly.
