A kitchen screen door was installed. The staff made the operator aware of this inspection. Operator made contact with the inspector before 9am on the day after this inspection. Via phone the operator agreed to add a wet vacuum, and floor squeezes to the staffs tools for cleaning. Operator has scheduled the management for a special meeting on 8/23/17 to address the repeat violations. The inspector explained if af fly touches food, the food is contaminated and must be discarded. The operator was told that an inspectors observation of contaminated food is required enforcement by the health department equaling a 250 dollar fine. Operator agreed to have management aggressively self inspect for establishing clean dry surfaces, and the elimination of anything that attracts flies. A reinspection will be done as soon as inspectors schedule allows. This inpection will focus on the condition of the facility when closing by arriving at the facility when it is being unlocked for daily operations. |

To avoid enforcement and quickly create a safer setting, the inspector is requesting a written plan from the owner/operator representing correction of today's violations. The plan should clearly identify immediate maintenence issues, organized structured employee training, and management monitoring of future activities. The plan should be submitted in person to the inspector for immediate review within 2-3 days; if not, the reinspection will be within 5-7 days. Owner/operator is recommended to have themselves and management meet with the inspector. The purpose would be to create a plan for immediate corrections and institute standard procedure for avoiding future violations. If the owner/operator quickly establishes (2-3 days) an inspector approved written correction plan, the reinspection will be in 2-3 weeks allowing time for proper implimentation of the plan. The owner/operator is requested to immediately contact Dan Rugar at 565-4870 to confirm understanding the requested actions to avoid formal monitory enforcement. |
