Batter consisting of milk and water was clumped in the breading. The breading was voluntarily discarded at the time of the inspection. A mixture of milk and raw eggs used for dipping raw chicken and fish prior to breading was left out on the counter following use. After being out on the counter for more than 2 hours, the mixture had a food product temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The owner placed the product into a smaller container and placed it in a same sized container with ice so that only the bottom of the container came in contact with the ice. The product was voluntarily discarded by operator at the time of the inspection. One jar of maple syrup prepared in the owner's home in the Vulcan reach-in cooler.Operator indicated that his intent was to use the syrup in recipes he prepared in the facility. The jar did not appear to have been opened. The operator removed the product from the premises at the time of the inspection. Thermal cooler filled with marinaded raw chicken in standing liquid from melted ice cooler on floor in the walk-in cooler. Abnormal, unpleasant odor eminating from the cooler. Operator indicated that the chicken had been prepared for a barbeque held on June 13 th. The chicken was voluntarily discarded and denatured with bleach at the time of the inspection. |
