Comments: Discussed: Hot and cold food provided to the Croton Caring/meals-on-wheels committee by Skyview. Number of meals varies each day. Total number provided for today's delivery was 15 each of hot and cold meals. One extra meal provided for both hot and cold to be taken and checked at the end of the delivery route when transport containers returned to Skyview. Delivery time, on average, is completed in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.; Adequate number of ice packs and setup in the coolers discussed. Prior arrangement with Croton Caring was for Sky view staff to take food temperature upon return. Return temperatures not being taken by Croton Caring staff or Skyview staff. Volunteer for Croton Caring was unaware about a 0-220F thermometer or the extra meal still being provided. Communication must be maintained between both sets of staff and all staff must be aware of the arrangement. Additionally, Croton Caring staff must ensure the food is at an acceptable temperature upon return.; Re-inspection on or about 11/16/17.

Skyview staff will ultimately be taking and recording the hot and cold temperatures at time of pick up and at the end of the route. This will be implemented beginning 4/24/17. A copy of the log sheet will be provided on 5/5/17 to [email protected] by Skyview.
