Gave directions for proper storage of food items in refrigerator to avoid cross contamination problems and to help new staff with proper storage order. A complaint was received pertaining to the cooks are not wearing hair nets and there is hair in the food. No hair was observed in the food during the inspection. Hair restraint was addressed in violation above. The complaint alleged that servers and waiters that were not 21 years of age were serving alcohol to patrons. This could not be verified because the staff this day are clearly over 21 years of age. The complaint alleges that the owner comes in to the facility right off the farm. This could not be verified as the owner/operator was not at the facility. However, hygiene is addressed in the Sanitary Code and a copy of 10 NYCRR Subpart 14-1, Food Service Establishments was left on the kitchen chest freezer at the facility for reference. |
